Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at the Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is famous for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good news that she had become pregnant while filming Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to work on the show. The character she played Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an enormous online following on social media.
